some moron at the airport

So currently cleveland hopkins I'nt airport is being lowered a few feet around where the airplanes park to allow better drainage. This is a very large and expensive project that consists of removing and repouring concrete. Well when they pour the new stuff, they do it in very small sections so not to take up much room around the aircraft. When they are done laying the cement they block it off so no one will drive over it..... well you guessed it. The stuff wasnt even on the ground four hours before someone decided that thats all it needed and it would be ok to drive on, mind you everything at the airport weighs alot so as to not be blown over. Anyways, smartypants drove onto and sunk into about 24 inches of this stuff! 24 inches thats two feet thick! I mean how do you explain to your boss on how you moved the barrier and proceded to sink a tug into the cement? Well im assuming it was a tug because it wasn't there when the construction guys found a large messy and hardend hole in there newly poured concrete. Now the city is investigating, checking security cameras and asking questions because they estimate to repair this brain fart will cost about $40,000. -jm-
